Famous Specialist's Armenian Assistant Wants to Lead Armenia National Team: Meliksetyan
Football commentator and insider Suren Meliksetyan has published information on his Facebook page regarding a potential candidate for the head coach position of the Armenia national team.
“Our compatriot Margary Agajanian is currently in negotiations with the Zimbabwe Football Federation, the Iranian Football Federation, as well as the clubs Al Kuwait and Al Tadhamon. Agajanian could lead the Zimbabwe national team, the Iranian Olympic team, or one of the mentioned clubs. However, according to my information, the 59-year-old specialist is also interested in working with the Armenia national team, considering that our team presently does not have a head coach. Margary Agajanian has been part of the coaching staff of the Iranian national team for many years, which was led by the renowned Carlos Queiroz. He participated in the 2014 and 2018 World Cups with the Iranian team, led the Iranian Olympic team, and various Iranian clubs,” wrote Meliksetyan.
