Russian Forces Strike Kyiv and Other Cities Overnight, Casualties Reported
Russian forces launched a series of strikes on several Ukrainian cities overnight, including Kyiv. In the Kyiv region, numerous explosions and a large fire occurred at a factory in the village of Mila as a result of the Russian attack, according to the head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Timur Tkachenko.
He reported that at least 27 people were killed, including Taras Didich, the head of the Dmytrivka community, who was one of the first responders to arrive at the scene. A total of 381 people have been evacuated from Mila, including 59 children. The Kyiv-Chop highway has been closed. An emergency response center has been established in the nearby town of Dmytrivka.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the strike on the village of Mila targeted an ammunition depot belonging to the Fire Point missile company.
