Russia and Belarus Ready for Any NATO Action: Russian Foreign Ministry

The Russian Federation and Belarus are prepared for any scenario of events, taking into account NATO's actions that threaten the security of the Union State. Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, stated in an interview with RIA Novosti that, given the large-scale military-political pressure being exerted against the two countries and the hybrid actions of NATO member states aimed at undermining security, they strive to be ready for any development of the situation.

“Considering the large-scale military-political pressure on our countries and the hybrid actions by NATO countries directed at undermining our security, we aim to be prepared for any variation of the situation,” Galuzin said.

The diplomat emphasized that the joint exercises “West-2025” served this purpose, during which all the necessary components to protect the Union State from any encroachment were tested. Moreover, according to him, the same goal was pursued by the strategic and tactical nuclear forces management starting exercises conducted in May.
