UFC Champion Calls Arman Tsarukyan One of the Best in the World
The UFC lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov has spoken about the level of fighters in the UFC, mentioning Armenian fighter Arman Tsarukyan.
Nurmagomedov recalled Tsarukyan's losses to Mateusz Gamrot and Islam Makhachev, noting that the Armenian fighter rarely competes but considers himself one of the best in the world. "While he has fought twice, I have managed to defend my title four times. There is a lot of talk in the UFC; their PR machine is very powerful," he stated, as reported by Sport24.
He also expressed the opinion that the level of competition in the UFC lightweight division is not as high as it seems.
It is worth noting that Arman Tsarukyan will have his next fight on September 19 in Los Angeles at UFC 331. His opponent will be Brazilian Mauricio Rufin.
