Who is the conscript soldier that died from a gunshot wound? Details
On October 6, a conscript soldier, Vahe Bagraty Harutyunyan, died from a gunshot wound in Military Unit N of the Ministry of Defense. He was from the Agarak community in the Syunik province. This was reported today, October 7, in an interview with NEWS.am by the principal of the Agarak secondary school, Angela Aghayan.
“The news was unexpected for all of us, because Vahe never had behavioral issues, he had no problems, nor any inappropriate discussions with the other boys,” the principal recounted.
According to Angela Aghayan, 21-year-old Vahe was the eldest child in the family, having twin siblings, a sister and a brother. “Vahe was a balanced student, reserved, and respectful towards both teachers and classmates. He never received any reprimands and never found himself in conflict situations. He comes from a good family; his parents are well-respected in the city,” the principal noted, adding that Vahe had been accepted to the Polytechnic University of Yerevan and was set to begin his studies after his conscription.
Earlier, it was reported that on October 6, around 10:00 AM, the body of soldier Vahe Bagraty Harutyunyan was discovered with a gunshot injury in Military Unit N of the Ministry of Defense.
