The Situation is the Worst Since the Beginning of the War: Ukraine Reports Issues with Air Defense

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Kyiv is unable to carry out mass production of ballistic missiles without Western support.

Kyiv cannot produce mass ballistic missiles without the help of the West, declared Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. “As for mass use, I cannot say because there are things that depend on factors outside of Ukraine. Our ballistic capabilities are limited, but we have some from other countries,” he was quoted by Strana.ua.

Military officials, including Zelensky himself, have repeatedly acknowledged that the Ukrainian armed forces have been unable to hit any Russian missiles targeting major cities during strikes. Chairman of the Rada's National Security, Defense and Intelligence Committee Yegor Cherneyev stated on Thursday that the situation concerning air defense systems in Ukraine has become the worst since the onset of the conflict.
