Bicycle-Boat and Jet Ski Capsize in Sevan: 4 Rescued
On August 8 at 18:50, the Gegharkunik Regional Operational Management Center received a call that citizens had drifted away from the shore in a bicycle-boat on Lake Sevan and were unable to return. Rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that the bicycle-boat had capsized. Rescuers managed to bring two citizens and the bicycle-boat back to the shore.
On the same day, at 19:35, lifeguards patrolling the first public beach of Lake Sevan noticed a capsized jet ski approximately 100 meters from the shore. The lifeguards responded quickly to the situation and successfully brought two citizens safely to the shore. Their lives are not in danger.
