How the Global Windows Outage Affected Zvartnots Operations
The global outage of devices running the Windows operating system did not cause significant issues with the operations at Zvartnots International Airport.
This was reported to Sputnik Armenia by Lilit Aghabekyan, assistant to the head of the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia.
She noted that the issue was related to the Hungarian budget airline Wizz Air's program, which resulted in delays for flights from Yerevan to Venice and Abu Dhabi.
"That issue has now been resolved, and the planes have already taken off," Aghabekyan said.
Earlier, it was reported that a worldwide disruption was seen affecting devices running on the Windows system. In several countries, aircraft were unable to take off or land due to technical malfunctions, leading to service delays.
