Why Liquefied Gas Prices Have Increased
The President of the WRA, Gegham Gevorgyan, has addressed the rise in liquefied gas prices, noting that it is a consequence of the increase in stock market prices globally. He stated, “The prices of imported goods have risen worldwide, and as a result, prices in our domestic market have also increased. According to our latest updated information, the number of companies importing liquefied gas has reached 98.”
Gevorgyan added that no single company’s share of imports exceeds 10% of the total. “The share of 9-10 economic actors is around 4-5%, while others have even smaller shares,” he pointed out. Gevorgyan emphasized that there is a large number of economic entities, and the market has low concentration.
