Salaries of Prison Guards in Armenia May Double with Successful Certification
Employees of the Armenian Ministry of Justice's Penitentiary Service will also be able to undergo professional certification to receive a higher monthly salary. This decision was made during today's government meeting.
The certification process will be gradually implemented across all law enforcement agencies, initially for military personnel and then for police officers. If an employee passes the certification with excellent, good, or satisfactory results, their salary may increase by twofold or more.
The salary increase will also depend on their rank, years of service, and certification outcomes.
