Russian People's Artist Alexander Shirvindt, the president of the Satirical Theatre, has passed away at the age of 90. This was reported by TASS.

It was noted that the news was conveyed to the media by the artistic director of the Satirical Theatre, Sergey Gazarov. “I received a call from Alexander Anatolievich's son, Misha, who informed me that he passed away half an hour ago in the hospital,” said Sergey Gazarov.
