China to Launch Rockets
China plans to launch two reusable rockets with diameters of 4 and 5 meters in 2025 and 2026, respectively. This announcement was made by Run Yin, the chief constructor of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, as reported by the Global Times.
According to the leader, the People's Republic of China has consistently developed key technologies for reusable rockets in recent years, showing gradual progress overall. He noted that the carriers would be subject to quick recovery after their return.
In February, SpaceNews reported that China plans to conduct the first launch of a new liquid-fueled Long March 12 (CZ-12) two-stage rocket in 2024.
