Armenian Border Crossed by Armed Azerbaijani Soldier: NSS Provides Details
The National Security Service of Armenia has issued a statement.
"On February 28, at approximately 05:15, an Azerbaijani soldier crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line in the border area of the Tegh community in the Syunik province, armed with an AKM-type automatic rifle and one magazine. He was neutralized by the Armed Forces of the Ministry of Defense. A criminal case has been initiated in the Investigative Committee of Armenia under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. The investigation is ongoing," the statement notes.
