Businessman Who Purchased 3 Expensive License Plate Numbers for 75 Million Dram Revealed

According to exclusive information from ArmLur.am, a prominent businessman has purchased three gold license plates at once.

For a considerable time, the Armenian public has been discussing and criticizing the potential participants and winners of the announced competition for expensive license plates, while the police have refrained from disclosing names to avoid inflaming tensions.

Our media outlet has managed to ascertain that the three valuable license plates were bought by large businessman Khachik Khachatryan, although it remains unclear whether they are registered in his name or that of another citizen.

Sources from the media report that a total of 75 million AMD has been paid for the plates with the numbers “00OO000”, “00DD000”, and “00XX000”.

It is noteworthy that Khachik Khachatryan is the president of the “X Group”, the owner of the “Yerevan Poultry Factory”, and “Valencia”. ArmLur.am attempted to discuss this matter with Khachatryan or someone responsible from his office, but our phone calls went unanswered.

During the auction for gold license plates on February 28, 10 individuals participated, and out of 48 license plates with high demand, 7 were sold for a total of 156 million dram.
