Public Transport in Yerevan Will Be Free for Women on March 8
Public transport in Yerevan will be free for women on March 8, as announced by the Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan. The mayor also informed that approximately 15,000 women associates working under the municipality will be provided with tickets for various cultural events.
“Women from families of participants in the war, those who have died, have acquired disabilities, are missing, as well as those forcibly displaced from Artsakh, will be given more than 1,000 tickets to attend the ‘Gayane’ ballet at the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet,” he stated.
