Nikol Pashinyan Discusses Cooperation with Amazon Services Vice Presidents
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Amazon Web Services Vice Presidents Michael Pankey and Max Peterson in Munich. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister's Office.
Issues related to cooperation between the Armenian government and Amazon Web Services, as well as the implementation of joint projects, were discussed. The company representatives emphasized their willingness to develop and strengthen cooperation with Armenia and added that they are currently in discussions and dialogue with the Ministry of High-Tech Industry.
Specifically, the meeting addressed the implementation of programs in the field of digitalization and upcoming joint efforts in this direction. Prime Minister Pashinyan highlighted that digitalization efforts are among the government's priorities and stressed the importance of close cooperation in this area.
Prime Minister Pashinyan also participated in a roundtable discussion titled “Digital Trust and Government Continuity: Cloud Computing in a Changing Geopolitical Era,” which was held in a closed format. The event was organized by Amazon Web Services and the Munich Security Conference.
