Residents of Chelyabinsk have reported strange flashes in the sky. This was announced by Nikolai Deyneko, the head of the Public Chamber of the region, who captured the light bursts on video.

"Just now, a strange burst occurred in the northwestern direction of Chelyabinsk," Deyneko wrote on his Telegram channel.

Witnesses believe that the unexpected illumination is caused by an electrical substation. According to local residents, the power supply has been disrupted in certain neighborhoods and suburbs of the city following the bursts.
