The Issue of Russian Peacekeepers Deployment in Nagorno-Karabakh Does Not Concern the Armenian Side: Lavrov
The issue of the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh does not concern the Armenian side; it is a matter of bilateral relations between Moscow and Baku. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a press conference following events at the UN Security Council. TASS reports.
“We indeed have peacekeepers there in Nagorno-Karabakh, even after everyone recognized Nagorno-Karabakh as Azerbaijani territory. However, this matter no longer concerns the Armenian side; it is an issue of bilateral relations between Russia and Azerbaijan,” the minister emphasized.
