Netanyahu Rejects Hamas Conditions and Deal
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Sunday that he will not accept Hamas's demand to cease hostilities in exchange for the release of hostages held in Gaza. Netanyahu stated that Hamas has asked for a halt to the war, the release of Palestinian prisoners, and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza in return for freeing the hostages.
“If we agree to this, our soldiers have died in vain. If we agree to this, we cannot guarantee the safety of our citizens,” the Prime Minister stated.
