“It Would Be a Bad Signal to the Whole World”: Riho Terras on the Russian-Ukrainian Conflict
Russia could ruin Ukraine’s Christmas if it decides to launch an attack. This was stated by Riho Terras, former head of the Estonian Defense Forces, Member of the European Parliament, and retired general, in an interview with ERR radio, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“Ukraine’s strength is depleting, and Russia also does not have much power, but it might be enough for a Christmas attack,” he said.
Terras remarked that Moscow has significantly increased military pressure on Ukraine, and two very important weeks lie ahead. He pointed out that if the frontline collapses and Russia captures some major populated area, it would be a bad signal to the whole world.
