"The Issue of Border Demarcation Should Be Separated from the Peace Treaty": Hajiyev
Azerbaijan sees no major obstacles in ensuring stable peace with neighboring Armenia and believes that the issue of border determination can be resolved separately. Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, stated this during a press conference in London today, emphasizing that "the issue of border demarcation should be separated from discussions of the peace treaty."
"The conflict that lasted 35 years is now over. Azerbaijan's strategy now is to achieve peace, which requires actions from both sides," Hajiyev noted.
According to the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, the peace agreement is not about arms manufacturing. "There are no longer obstacles on the path to the peace agenda for Azerbaijan," he added.
