Medvedev's Son and Putin's Niece: Who are the Targets of EU Sanctions?
The European Union has imposed personal restrictions on 61 individuals and 86 organizations as part of the twelfth package of sanctions against Russia. The list has been published in the EU's official journal.
Among the individuals targeted by the sanctions are Ilya Medvedev, the son of Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council; Anna Tsivilova, the wife of the governor of Kuzbass and Vladimir Putin's niece; and Alexei Shaposhnikov, the Chairman of the Moscow City Duma, among others.
