Armenian Teen Sets Guinness Record Dedicated to Heroes of the 44-Day War
18-year-old Grigor Manukyan from the town of Talin in Aragatsotn Province has set a new Guinness World Record. He performed pull-ups between two moving trucks, according to the official Guinness World Records website.
Grigor completed 44 pull-ups on a bar set between the trucks, surpassing the previous record of 35 set by Italian Tazio Gavioli.
"I believe I could have reached 50, but I decided to stop at 44 and dedicate my record to the memory of the fallen heroes of the fateful 44-day war in Artsakh, during which thousands of Armenians lost their lives," Grigor Manukyan stated.
