Azerbaijan Acquiring New Military Equipment from Bulgaria? Media Reports
Using the Flightradar24 system, it has been revealed that on December 18, an Azerbaijani Ilyushin Il-76 MD cargo aircraft with tail number 4K-78129 flew from Burgas, Bulgaria, to Azerbaijan. The same aircraft also departed from Burgas on December 16 and returned to Azerbaijan the following day.
It is possible that Azerbaijan is undertaking new military supplies from Bulgaria. This information has been reported by Инфотека 24. The Bagramyan 26 Telegram channel also added that over the past year, this aircraft has made continuous flights to the Ovda Airbase in Israel, as well as to Jordan, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, and Croatia.
It is almost unnecessary to mention Turkey as a standard route. “Azerbaijan continues its militarization by purchasing weapons wherever it can. This occurs alongside false statements about the supposed desire for peace in the region, and calls to the world not to supply arms to Armenia,” the channel wrote.
