Prime Minister Familiarizes with Construction Works on the Ashtarak-Talin Section of the North-South Project

On December 15, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Aragatsotn province and got acquainted with the construction works of the Ashtarak-Talin 34 km section of the North-South project, which is supported by the Asian Development Bank. This information was provided by the office of the Prime Minister of Armenia.

The construction works for the project began on November 13 of this year. Following the order of the client, the works started from the section of the Ashtarak-Talin road near the Nerk’in Bazmaberd community to the Talin community. Thanks to the efficient organization of the works, within a short period, the preparation of the earth embankment and the installation of the gravel base, the installation of reinforced concrete drainage pipes, as well as the two-layer asphalt paving of approximately 1 km section have been completed.

The marking and equipping works of the mentioned section are nearing completion. As a result, traffic on this approximately 10 km section will be transferred to a one-way regime.
