Alen Simonyan Will Not Attend CSTO Meeting
The spokesperson for the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Tsovinar Khachatryan, has issued a statement announcing that Alen Simonyan, the President of the National Assembly, will not participate in the extraordinary session of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) scheduled for December 19, 2023, in Moscow. The Armenian parliamentary delegation will also not attend the meetings.
Alen Simonyan confirmed today in a formal letter addressed to Vyacheslav Volodin, the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, that he will not travel to Moscow for the event.
