Judge Tigran Poladyan Arrested
Judge Tigran Poladyan of the bankruptcy court has been arrested and charged with receiving a particularly large bribe. This information has been reported by the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.
It is worth recalling that on December 14, 2023, the Prosecutor General of Armenia submitted a motion to the Supreme Judicial Council regarding the initiation of public criminal proceedings against the judge in connection with the exercise of his powers, seeking consent to deprive the judge of his freedom.
The Supreme Judicial Council convened a meeting and approved the Prosecutor General's motions to initiate public criminal proceedings against Poladyan and to grant consent for his deprivation of liberty.
