Medvedev: Putin Still Has a Lot to Do
Russia's Deputy Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has welcomed Vladimir Putin's decision to run in the presidential elections scheduled for March 2024.
"It is good that Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin has agreed to participate in the electoral campaign and to run for the presidency of the Russian Federation," Medvedev stated during a meeting with students.
According to him, it is crucial for Russia to be led by an experienced and skilled politician during this particular period. "It is very important that the country is led by a powerful political figure with tremendous experience, such as our president," Medvedev emphasized, adding, "Putin still has a lot to do."
Dmitry Medvedev also mentioned that he is confident about the outcomes of the elections taking place in March.
