Putin and Netanyahu Discussed for 50 Minutes: What Was Covered
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had an extensive phone conversation with Vladimir Putin. This was reported by the office of the Israeli government's leader.
Netanyahu expressed gratitude for Moscow's efforts in securing the release of an Israeli citizen with Russian citizenship from the Gaza Strip.
At the same time, the Prime Minister voiced his dissatisfaction with the stance of Russian representatives regarding Israel in the UN and other platforms.
According to local media, the conversation between Putin and Netanyahu lasted about 50 minutes. This marks the second phone call between the two leaders since the escalation of conflict in the Middle East. They last communicated in mid-October, during which Russia's leader reiterated Moscow's position that a just resolution to the issue can only be achieved through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state that coexists peacefully with Israel.
