Netanyahu Officially Rejects International Call to End War in Gaza
The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has officially rejected the international community's calls to end the war in the Gaza Strip during a speech at a military cabinet meeting today. This was reported by Al-Jazeera.
Commenting on the international calls to cease hostilities in Gaza, he referred to them as incompatible with the goal of destroying Hamas. Netanyahu stated what he had told leaders from France, Germany, and other countries: "You cannot support the elimination of Hamas on one hand while exerting pressure on us to stop the war, which is aimed at preventing the elimination of Hamas on the other."
