Just Peace Possible, But Not With America: Erdogan
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that a just peace with the United States is impossible. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the U.S. vetoed a draft resolution that called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. The United Kingdom abstained from voting, while the other 13 members of the Security Council voted in favor. The document is co-authored by at least 97 members of the UN.
“Only the U.S. voted against the ceasefire. Is such justice possible? A just peace is possible, but not with America. The U.S. stands beside Israel. Oh, U.S., how will you answer for this?” said the Turkish President.
