Zakhrova Responds to Armenia's Statement on Not Suing Russia for Arms Shortage
The Russian side welcomes Armenia's desire to resolve the arms issue in a collaborative atmosphere. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakhrova, commenting on the words of Armenia's Deputy Defense Minister Hrachya Sargsyan.
“We can only welcome that. As we understand it, the same attitude is shared by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation,” said Zakhrova.
Recall that on December 4, Sargsyan announced that Armenia would not sue Russia for failing to deliver arms. “I think it will not come to that; the issue will be resolved through partner relations,” he noted.
