Macron Qualifies Armenia's Accession to the Rome Statute as Courageous
During an evening dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, French President Emmanuel Macron also referred to Armenia, qualifying its accession to the Rome Statute as courageous. This was reported by Olivier Decotine, the French ambassador to Armenia, on his microblog on X.
“Here, I would like to add Armenia's courage in deciding to join the Rome Statute, a very significant gesture considering that the last few months have brought tragedies to this country and this people,” he quoted the president's speech.
