«If You Want to Decongest the Center, Relocate Government Agencies to the Suburbs»․ Sargis Ter-Esayan
To decongest the center of Yerevan, it is not necessary to raid the pockets of the devastated and disappointed people burdened by bank interest; instead, relocating several government agencies out of the Center and moving some bank headquarters to the suburbs is a viable alternative. This was stated by user Sargis Ter-Esayan in his Facebook post.
“I believe this would significantly reduce traffic congestion in Yerevan, especially since there are currently no alternative proposals aside from price hikes. The capital is overloaded not only in the Center but also in various administrative districts, with traffic jams at different times of the day posing serious challenges for our citizens. Thus, replacing 12,000 AMD in the Center with 160,000 AMD simply means imposing a penalty, rather than solving the issue,” he remarked.
