Avalanche Claims Lives of Climbers in Iran
Five people have died due to an avalanche in the western Oshtorankoo mountains of Iran, with four others injured. This has been reported by international media.
Rescue teams discovered the bodies of five climbers near the summit of Mount San Boran, which is located approximately 300 km southwest of Tehran at an altitude of 4,150 meters. Four other climbers were rescued and taken to the hospital.
It is noteworthy that the team of nine had commenced their expedition on November 23, despite warnings from local authorities about the potential dangers of avalanches.
