A Tree Topples onto a Parked Car in Yerevan Due to Strong Winds
On November 19, at 11:56 AM, the emergency management national center received a report that a tree had toppled onto a parked car due to strong winds near building 28/2 on Sose Street. This was announced by the emergency rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.
A firefighting team from the Yerevan Fire and Rescue Department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the tree had been uprooted and had fallen on a “Mercedes-Benz” vehicle. The roadway was closed to traffic in both directions.
Rescue workers maintained a presence at the scene and, together with workers from the landscaping service, cut and removed the tree. The roadway is now open to traffic in both directions.
