Nikol Pashinyan Was Aware of the Text of the Artsakh Security Council Statement in Advance: President of the Artsakh National Assembly
The President of the Artsakh National Assembly, David Ishkhanyan, stated in response to a question from yerkir.am that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had been aware of the text of the Artsakh Republic Security Council's statement in advance.
"In order to avoid unnecessary speculation and to refrain from conspiracy and rumor, I want to inform that from the very first moment of the military operations carried out by Azerbaijan on September 19 of this year, the Armenian Prime Minister has been informed of all processes and developments. Moreover, the statement of the Artsakh Republic's Security Council, which represents the price of the ceasefire, has been a subject of discussion, and the text of the statement has been known in advance to responsible circles in Armenia, including personally to the Prime Minister himself. I regret that our parliamentary colleagues in Armenia, probably not being aware of these details, are trying to find culprits or blame other responsible parties due to a lack of information.
The situation in Artsakh and the current conditions do not allow us to provide more details. We hope that demonstrating a committed and responsible stance will keep our colleagues from falling into the temptation of serving the interests of narrow political circles by distorting reality," said David Ishkhanyan.
