PHOTOS: Russian Peacekeepers Evacuate Over 1.8 Thousand Civilians from Artsakh
Today, Russian peacekeepers have evacuated over 1,800 civilians from Nagorno-Karabakh. They are currently provided with shelter and hot meals, reports the RMC channel.
The Russian Ministry of Defense had previously announced that starting from 12:00 today, Russian peacekeepers have recorded numerous violations of the ceasefire regime along the entire length of the contact line by the Azerbaijani side.
Evacuation of the civilian population from the most dangerous areas of Nagorno-Karabakh has been organized, as well as medical assistance to the affected individuals.
The command of the Russian peacekeepers urges the conflicting parties in Karabakh to immediately cease fire, as well as to de-escalate and continue negotiations.
