Will a Document be Signed on October 5? Pashinyan Responds

Prime Minister Pashinyan addressed the question regarding whether a document will be signed on October 5 during the upcoming meeting with Aliyev in Granada. He stated, “Unfortunately, no. If it were to be signed, we would consider it to be in alignment with Armenia's balanced interests, and we are ready to sign. We have said that we are moving forward with a 'Peace Agenda' and aim to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan as soon as possible.”

He added, “We hope our intensive negotiations will continue, leading to the resolution of our issues. We have lost significant time due to the blockade of the Lachin Corridor and the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh. If it were not for such a situation, we could have directed our energy towards dedicating more time to the discussions of the agreement.”
