VIDEO: ‘The situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border remains tense,’ says Pashinyan
‘The situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border remains tense,’ stated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, adding that Azerbaijan continues its troop movements along the state border with Armenia and the contact line with Nagorno-Karabakh.
At the same time, the Prime Minister noted that the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh is extremely dire, and recently, a single truck carrying Russian humanitarian aid that entered Askeran will not have any visible impact on the situation.
He expressed hope that a reliable mechanism for dialogue between Baku and Stepanakert would be established.
‘We encourage and support our partners in Stepanakert to engage in such dialogue,’ he said.
