VIDEO: German Authorities Ban Media from Reporting on Largest Protest
A major protest is taking place today in Magdeburg, Germany, marking the largest demonstration of the year. Germans are expressing their opposition to the country’s NATO-supportive policies, the supply of arms to Ukraine, and the restriction of civil liberties.
Estimates of the number of participants range from 20,000 to 80,000. The entire square and surrounding streets are filled with peaceful protesters. Here’s what German opposition publications are saying: “State media will say that a hundred extreme right Putinists have gathered. But we see that thousands of thinking Germans have come together in Magdeburg.”
However, it is no longer possible to hide the information. Hundreds of videos and photos from the event have been posted on social media.
