21-Year-Old Stabs Teenagers Aged 15 and 16 on Peaceful Dawn Street in Yerevan

A 21-year-old man has stabbed two teenagers, aged 15 and 16, on Peaceful Dawn Street in Yerevan. This information has been reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

"On September 15, at 10:30 PM, the police received a report from the hospital that a 16-year-old boy had come in for treatment with 'stab wounds to the chest,'" the statement reads.

Criminal investigators have determined that half an hour prior to the report, an argument arose between the two teenagers and the 21-year-old. The man used a sharp cutting object to strike the 15-year-old boy in the thigh and the 16-year-old boy, who was later hospitalized.

Three hours after the report, the 21-year-old was found on Peaceful Dawn Street, arrested, and taken to the police department in Erebuni.

A criminal case has been initiated, and the circumstances are being clarified.
