Sign of the Republic of Artsakh Installed in Front of Azerbaijan's Consulate in Los Angeles
A sign marking the Republic of Artsakh has been installed in front of Azerbaijan's consulate in Los Angeles. This was reported by one of the protesters on their Facebook page.
The photo features Paul Krekorian, the President of the Los Angeles City Council, along with former California Assembly member Adrian Nazaryan.
The illegal blockade of Artsakh by Azerbaijan for six months has prompted Krekorian and the city council to take this step and designate the area as "Artsakh Square." According to Krekorian, his and Mayor Karen Bass’s joint efforts to present the situation to President Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken have been unsuccessful.
