ECHR Rejects Armenia's Request Regarding Vagif Khachatryan
The European Court of Human Rights has rejected Armenia's request for the application of new interim measures regarding Vagif Khachatryan in relation to Azerbaijan, reports the Armenian representative for International Legal Matters.
“At the same time, the court noted in its decision that the interim measures applied on September 29, 2020, and extended on November 3 of the same year, remain in effect, under which Azerbaijan is obliged to fulfill its convention obligations. The European Court has also obliged Azerbaijan to inform about Vagif Khachatryan's general condition and ongoing criminal proceedings,” the statement said.
