VIDEO: Russian Peacekeepers Delay, Cargo Movement Occurs, But No Clear Response
Azerbaijanis have reached the Aghnu-Stepanakert road, where the peacekeepers are stationed. They have negotiated with the Russians regarding transporting 40 tons of flour along this route to Stepanakert.
Russian peacekeepers have requested time, according to the secretary-general of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society, which has supplied flour to Artsakh as 'aid.'
The Azerbaijani representative stated that he provided the peacekeepers with his phone number, so they could contact him if they had a response.
"It is unknown when they will respond. After receiving the answer, the information will be provided," he told the media.
Azerbaijanis plan to set up tents in that area, and vehicles have started to move in that direction.
Earlier, it was reported that two trucks loaded with 40 tons of flour arrived from Baku to Aghnu (Agdam).
According to Novruz Aslan, the president of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society and a parliament member, "Volunteers have been mobilized to deliver the humanitarian cargo to its destination." It should be noted that the Artsakh authorities have already stated that this action was not coordinated with them in any way.
