Robert Kocharian Holds Meeting on Artsakh Issue
The second president of Armenia and leader of the "Hayastan" alliance, Robert Kocharian, chaired a meeting of the National Assembly’s "Hayastan" faction on August 24. The key topic of discussion was the dire situation in Artsakh resulting from the closure of the Lachin Corridor and potential solutions to the crisis.
The upcoming Yerevan City Council elections were also addressed during the meeting. The faction decided to support the "Mother Armenia" alliance, which has nominated former National Assembly member Andranik Tevanyan as its candidate for mayor.
Further plans for the faction's activities in the upcoming session of the National Assembly were also discussed.
