Russia: Blockade of the Lachin Corridor Must be Stopped
The Russian representative at the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, stated that Moscow is actively working towards the reconciliation of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“It is important to delineate the borders of the two countries, and in dialogue, it is necessary to guarantee the rights of the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh,” he said.
“The reconciliation of Armenia and Azerbaijan is impossible without clear security guarantees for the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh, based on internationally recognized principles. This logic stems from the recent agreements, with each side recognizing the territorial integrity of the other according to the Almaty Declaration,” he noted.
Polyansky also suggested the possibility of sending humanitarian aid to Nagorno-Karabakh via the Aghdam road.
