People Who Should Have Been on the Frontline for Armenia and Artsakh Are in Prisons
The Secretary of the 'I Have Honor' faction of the National Assembly, Tigran Abrahamyan, writes on his Facebook page: General Grigori Khachaturov has been in custody for about 5 months. If you approach random people and ask why, they will say he is a victorious general, principled, he speaks the truth to power, and openly expresses the reality about this government. Naturally, no one doubts that he is a criminal or involved in any criminal scheme.
Despite these systemic abuses, our colonial conversations are not about his prison life, but about future actions. Today, I visited the 'Vardashen' penitentiary to talk with General Khachaturov. Just as I saw him during the early days of his illegal detention, he continues to live with the same cold demeanor.
The people who should have been on the frontline for Armenia and Artsakh during crucial moments are in prisons. The goal of this government is not to prepare for a new war or to resist, but to think of new excuses for why we lost again and conceded once more.
