US State Department Spokesperson Refuses to Provide Details on Caucasus Negotiations
The US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller, during a press briefing at the department, refused to provide any details regarding Senior Advisor Luis Bono's upcoming visit to the South Caucasus for negotiations, reports Voice of America.
He added, "As we have always stated, we believe that a peace agreement is possible. That is why we continue to engage with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan at both our department's highest and lower levels, urging them to make the difficult compromises necessary to achieve a comprehensive peace agreement."
