Azerbaijan Reports Detention of Armenian Citizen
On August 1, Azerbaijani border guard servicemen detained Rashid Aramaisis Beglaryan, a 1962-born Armenian citizen, for violating the state border in the area of the Armenian-Azerbaijani frontier. This information was reported by Azerbaijani media, citing a statement from the Azerbaijani border service.
According to the Azerbaijani side, the border in question runs through the territory of the Zabukh village in the Lachin region. It is also noted that an investigation is underway regarding this incident.
It is reminded that the Armenian side has not yet reacted to this incident.
